Summerfest – MOVIE NIGHT & Firetruck Visit
Bring the whole community together at West Side Church for free food, a fire-safety demonstration, and a free movie! Dinner begins at 5:15 pm. Afterwards, the Fire Department will have a presentation for us, complete with photo ops and a fire safety talk for the kids. At 6:30 pm, we will move inside to eat popcorn and watch “Playing With Fire;” a delightful family friendly film about a straight-laced smoke-jumper fire chief and his crew as they struggle with caring for three precocious kids they rescued from a fire. Recommended for ages 8+ due to a couple of “perilous” scenes—fire & cliff rescue—with comedic elements. See the trailer HERE. Childcare will be provided for kids 8 & under during the movie.
This is a community event, so be sure to bring your friends and neighbors!
