Join us this Fall as we study Ezekiel: A Message for Turbulent Times with facilitators Gene Carbaugh, Grace Ely, Steve Whatley, and Will Shaw. It was a turbulent time with the world powers shifting, unreliable allies, national unity threatened, rebellion against authorities, and idolatry rampant. Sound familiar? Into these times of uncertainty God sent the prophet Ezekiel with a message of mysterious vision even as God’s people were exiled to Babylon. His book remains enigmatic with unearthly visions, poems, parables, and comic street-theatre, but God uses vivid images and symbolic actions to get people’s attention, and in doing so turns a message of doom to one of ultimate hope. In this adult class for all ages, we’ll explore the powerful message of the grandeur and glory of God’s sovereign rule and the holiness which he jealously safeguards.
